This trail is unbelievable. It is some of the smoothest, tightest, fastest singletrack I have ever been on. There is a main trail (which is two small loops connected by a two-way section) and there is the Razor's Edge branch, which just by-passes the two-way section to make it a true loop. Combine this trail with the canal trail and you have a good workout. Lots of twists and turns, very few roots, a few fast gullies, and lots of neat views of the river. A great trail.
From Washington Rd., take Eisenhower Drive down to the baseball park. Park here and follow the railroad tracks across the canal to the pumping station. Parking is no longer available at the trailhead but you can ride on the canal path from Savannah Rapids Pavilion or downtown.
